From Scratch Club

I’m the founding member of a food club and popular blog, From Scratch Club:

We are a small group of women, living within the Capital Region of NYS (Albany, Troy, Schenectady, Saratoga Springs) striving for a sustained connection to the whole food we, our loved ones, and our communities consume. We meet twice a month for food swaps, and maybe even a food-related adventure, field trip, cheesemaking party or potluck. Once a month we participate in community outreach at various local farmers markets in our area. The rest of the month we are here on the blog, sharing stories, recipes, DIY projects, homesteading tutorials, kitchen tips & tricks and food policy news in hopes of inspiring everyday people to jump back into the kitchen as a daily way of life regardless of income, space & time.

We are interested in sharing all things food; recipes, blogs, cookbooks, kitchen products, farms, food manufactures, food memoirs, food policy movements, local events, farmer’s markets, and gardening. Basically anything and everything because in reality, food weaves itself in & out of everyone’s lives multiple times a day, not just when we are eating or cooking.

We post recipes, links, local events (Albany/Saratoga, NY region), helpful kitchen organization tricks and feature local food businesses. Come join the conversation!

My recipes on the blog are dairy, soy, tree nut, peanut, pea protein, gluten and sesame free!
